Organizers of the annual “Walk a Mile In Her Shoes” fundraiser have announced details and the date of the 2018 event.
Benefitting Domestic and Sexual Abuse Services of St. Joseph County, the walk will take place Aug. 11 at Lafayette Park in Three Rivers. Proceeds will be used to support survivors receiving services by the agency’s advocates and therapists.
The one-mile walk in women’s high-heeled shoes will start at 10:30 a.m. A hog-roast lunch will follow at 11. The event will also feature a bounce house, raffle, prizes, dog walk and kid’s games.
