Centreville names new fire chief

Members of the Centreville Village Council have agreed to appoint David Miracle as chief of the municipality’s fire department.

He replaces Chris Loker, who retired effective last month.

Miracle has spent 23 years with the department, starting as a firefighter. He said it is a privilege to be able to serve the people of Centreville and surrounding areas.

He works in the RV industry. Meanwhile, the remainder of Miracle’s leadership team is comprised of assistant chief Bryan Balk, captains Matt McNamara and Alex Milliman, and lieutenants Zach Milliman and Hunter Miracle.
