Alta Blanche (Flanders) Toush, age 93, of Marcellus, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2018. She was born on March 17, 1925, in Dowagiac, the only child of Carl Louis and Amy (Smith) Flanders.
On July 8, 1950, she married Robert L. Toush, whom together had one daughter: Sheila (James) Roberts of Three Rivers, and one son: Lawrence “Larry” Toush of Marcellus, who survive, before Robert’s passing on January 24, 2006. Also surviving are two grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Alta attended the New Apostolic Church in Three Rivers for many years. Alta worked at the old Three Rivers Hospital as a Nursing Aid for eighteen years. Alta enjoyed spending quality time at home crocheting snowflakes for her friends and family. Alta is preceded by both of her parents, and her loving husband: Robert L. Toush.
