A Benton Harbor man was injured when he was run over by a farm truck in a field in Cass County’s Howard Township.
Sheriff Richard Behnke said deputies were called to the 2300 block of Lake Street shortly after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Witnesses said Willie Lewis, 66, was lying in a field taking a break when he was run over by a farm truck, whose driver did not see him.
Lewis was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital. The extent of his injuries was not indicated in a department media release.
