Police investigate theft from gas station

State police report that the theft of merchandise was conveyed by store clerks at the Prairie Lake Marathon gas station in Sherman Township.

A department media release stated the incident occurred at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday, when a heavyset white male, wearing a white bandana, white hat, white tank top and blue jeans, stole unspecified items upon leaving the store.

The subject left in a white Mazda with tinted windows. He was last seen driving north on M-66.
