Search warrant leads to arrests

Four people were arrested in Sturgis over the weekend and charged with drug-related offenses.

According to a sheriff’s department media release, deputies were joined by state police Saturday at a location in the 800 block of Gateway Court.

A search warrant was conducted and authorities found a large quantity of narcotics, as well as further evidence suggesting the distribution of narcotics.

In addition, each of the four suspects, whose ages and communities of residence were not included in a department media release, were wanted on drug-related warrants, authorities said.
