Grant Smith, 28

Grant R. Smith, 28, of Jones, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born Nov. 8, 1989, in Goshen, a son of George R. and Debra F. (Bender) Smith.
He was a resident of Mottville and Jones all his life and attended White Pigeon Community Schools.He was employed at American Axle and as a clerk at local gas stations. He enjoyed trap-shooting with 4-H, playing video games, movies and music.
He is survived by his parents, George and Debra Smith of Jones; a sister, Kirsten Smith of Jones; grandparents Eugene Bender of Middlebury, and Lennie Smith of Jones.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Farrand Funeral home in White Pigeon. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at the funeral home, with Pastor Barry Edds of White Pigeon Church of Christ officiating. Cremation will follow services.
