Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred late Sunday in Sturgis.
Officers were called to Sunny Mart at 1240 E. Chicago Road around 7:30 p.m.
An employee told police a man entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. He then fled on foot and was tracked by a Michigan State Police K-9 to an area of Arthur Street and Laura Drive, where the track was lost due to weather conditions.
The man was wearing a black hoodie and his face was covered with a white mask.
