Larry Carpenter, 63

Larry L. Carpenter, age 63, of Bristol, Ind., and formerly of Sturgis, passed away early Tuesday evening, Nov. 6, 2018, at Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart.
He was born April 8, 1955 in Sturgis, a son of the late Lloyd and Hope (Hedglin) Carpenter.
Larry resided most of his life in Sturgis, living the past six years in Bristol.
He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by a sister, Sue Ann Strayer of LaGrange; two brothers, Dale Carpenter of Lansing and Terry Carpenter of Sturgis ;and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Bev Carpenter and Marlene Carpenter; and a brother, Lloyd Thomas “Tom” Carpenter.
In accordance with Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no services planned.
