Shirley A. Fish, age 73, of Sturgis, passed away early Monday evening November 26, 2018 at her home with her loving family at her side.
She was born February 22, 1945 in Ravenscroft, Tennessee daughter of the late Charlie and Dora (Emerton) Parks.
On March 16, 1959 she married Bruce C. Fish in Crossville, Tennessee who preceded her in death February 6, 1996.
She loved spending time with her family.
Shirley is survived by her children: Claude (Teresa) Fish of Sturgis, David (Becky) Fish of Sturgis, Kathy (John) McKenzie of Burr Oak and Jeff Fish of Sturgis. She also leaves behind, her companion of 19 years: William L. Ellis; grandchildren: Nicole (Adam) Stark, Brandon (Katie) Fish, Andrew Fish, Sabrina (Justin Ehrke) Fish, Nathaniel (Amanda White) Fish, Scott Fish, Jazmen Fish as well as 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Edwin Parks, Morris (Jo) Parks and sister: Reba Jo Emerton.
In accordance with her wishes there will be no visitation. A private graveside service and burial will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis. The Rev. Rodger Moyer of the Sturgis Evangelical Church will officiate.
