Three people charged in the murder of a truck driver last week remain in the St. Joseph County Jail.
They were arrested Friday by the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department. The suspects are: Theron Hunt, 40; Kayla Lynn Chaney, 24; and Tyler McNeil, 20. Each had bond set at $4 million during arraignment this week.
The trio is charged with one count of open murder, three counts of armed robbery and one count felony firearm. All are residents of Dowagiac.
They are suspected in the shooting death of a truck driver around 3 a.m. Nov. 14 on South Street in Flowerfield Township. according to authorities.
Information about the 42-year-old victim has not yet been released
