James Roger Clark, age 79 of Centreville, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. Jim was born in Centreville on April 24, 1939, a son of William and Marie (Phillips) Clark. He attended Centreville schools. On September 27, 1958, he married Willa Mae “Toots” Parker; she preceded him in death on December 17, 2013.
Jim retired from Michigan Milk Producers Association in Constantine after working as a supervisor for many years. He also previously worked for Denton Mills. Jim attended New Beginnings Community Church. He loved going camping, mushroom hunting, going to the Centreville fair, and loved riding his golf cart around town.
Surviving are his children James “Dan” (Sherrie) Clark of Sturgis and Julie Clark of Centreville; grandchildren Heather (Pablo) Valasco of Centreville, Roger Bogema of Three Rivers, Bridgette (John) Alley of Burr Oak, Michael (Meranda) Clark of Centreville, and Tiffany (Jason) Salem of Livonia; great grandchildren Tony Duran, Braxton, Cole, Collyn, Alley, Aubrey, Paitynn, and Gavin; sisters Carol Rudolff of Three Rivers and Alice Loudenslager of Burr Oak and several nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Penny Brown, a son-in-law, a grandson-in-law, brothers Richard, Phillip, Edward, Jack, Lee, and Robert Clark, and sisters Marge Clark and Marilyn Pardon.
Relatives and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 6 pm at Eley Funeral Home, Centreville. Religious services will be held on Monday at 10 am at the funeral home with Pastor Randy Evans, New Beginnings Community Church, officiating. Interment will occur in Nottawa Cemetery.
