Tim Sites, 54

Timothy Joseph Sites, age 54, of Sturgis, lost his long battle with cancer, surrounded by his family, early Thursday morning, Dec. 6, 2018, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
He was born Dec. 26, 1963, in Neptune, N.J., a son of Samuel K Sites and Patricia Sites.
Tim was a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1982. He enjoyed traveling to Acapulco and going on cruises, gardening and loved cooking and hosting parties. He was happiest when sharing a meal with friends especially during any holiday. Tim was a lifelong artist and enjoyed painting works of art for his friends.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Sites of Sturgis; a brother, Samuel Sites Jr. of Sturgis; an uncle, Charles Sites of Colon; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, on Jan. 28, 2018.
In accordance with Tim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating the life of Timothy Joseph Sites will be held at a later date, to be announced.
Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S Nottawa St., Sturgis, is entrusted with arrangements.
