Michael Roger Trattles, age 75, of Saratoga Springs, NY, died at home on Sunday, January 27, 2019 in the company of his loving family.
Born July 4, 1943 in Battle Creek, he was the son of the late Roger Leon and Alice Jeannette (Weber) Trattles. After High School, Mike graduated from the Naval Nuclear Power School and served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam War. He was later employed with GE Silicones and retired from GE after 31 years. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club at GE, a member of Sara Spa Rod and Gun Club and the N.R.A.
He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Susan Ann (Natale) Trattles, in 2015. Together, they shared surviving son Matthew Trattles of Minnesota and daughter Kristyn C. Trattles of Waterford, one brother David and (Pat) Trattles of Holland, MI and grandchildren: Julianna N. and (Ryan) McNally, Andrew L. Sacco, Mason Trattles, Madeline and (Aaron) Burgett and Molly Trattles. Spending the last 3 years of his life with his loving wife Bonnie Trattles, stepson David (Jennifer) Marek, stepdaughter Melissa (fiancée Michael) Wilcox and several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Susan, he was also pre-deceased by one brother, Gary Trattles. Calling hours will be Friday, February 1, 2019 from 11:00AM to 12:30PM at the William J. Burke and Sons Funeral Home 628 N. Broadway Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Funeral services will follow with Pastor Jonathan Hodges officiating. Burial with Naval Honors will be in the Gerald B.H.
