The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is appealing to the public for help in solving a missing-persons case.
Sheriff Brad Balk said deputies are still investigating a case involving Brittany Nichole Shank, a 23-year-old white female. She is described as standing 5-foot-1 and weighing about 100 pounds. Shank has brown hair and hazel-colored eyes.
She was last seen shortly before 10 p.m. Nov. 30 in the 33000 block of Fawn River Road. Investigators were told she was seen earlier in the day with a white male who appeared to be in his early 20s and standing approximately 5-foot-7. He had short, blond hair and mutton chop-type sideburns.
