Centreville adjusts term expiration dates

Members of the Centreville Village Council agreed last week to adjust the expiration dates for terms of office for members of the Centreville Downtown Development Authority.

Currently, one member’s term expires in September 2019, another in December 2019, the next in October 2020, two in January 2022 and two in October 2022.

DDA member Pattie Bender suggested terms expire Oct. 5 annually, except for village president.

With the change, Jennifer Koski and Rick Shaffer will serve through Oct. 5 this year, Bender will serve through Oct. 5, 2020, Vicki Allen and Dan Templin through Oct. 5, 2021, and Tina Cronkhite and Carol Snow Penn through Oct. 5, 2022.

Village president Keith Shears will serve through Nov. 20, 2020.
