Four people arrested following search warrant

Cass County sheriff’s officials have released more information related to a weekend incident during which a 34-year-old man barricaded himself in a Mason Township residence.

Deputies said detectives executed a search warrant Sunday in the 21000 block of Channel Parkway and four subjects were detained inside the residence.

Arrested were a 40-year-old man and three females, ages 30, 29 and 18.

During their search of the residence, detectives located more than an ounce of methamphetamine as well as meth paraphernalia in several rooms throughout the residence.

Detectives also located more than $4,000 in cash, a gallon-sized Ziploc bag of marijuana and a bag containing cocaine, according to authorities.

Two stolen vehicles were also recovered outside the residence.

Detectives were assisted by the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department and Cass County Sheriff’s K-9 officer Faust.
