Man arrested after high-speed chase

An Indiana man was arrested Friday after a high-speed police pursuit that started in White Pigeon.

Raudel Nunez, 19, of Ligonier, is being held on charges of driving with a suspended license, resisting law enforcement, possession of stolen property and a warrant from Noble County, Ind., according to authorities.

The pursuit began around 2 p.m. Friday in White Pigeon, where police attempted to stop Nunez following an incident in Constantine. As officers initiated contact with Nunez, a passenger exited the vehicle and Nunez allegedly sped off.

The incident ended about 10 minutes later in LaGrange County after the vehicle Nunez was driving ran out of gas.

Police said the vehicle was stolen from Michigan City.
