Marge Guiher, 80

Margaret “Marge” Mary Guiher, age 80, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 6, 2019.

Margaret was born in Buffalo, New York on May 18, 1938, the daughter of William J. and Ellen M. (Cunningham) Morrison.

On June 01, 1991, she married Maurice A. Guiher in St. Frances of Assisi Chapel in Tonawanda, New York. They were married for almost 12 years before he passed away on January 05, 2003.

To many, Margaret was known as “Marge”. She lived a shining example of Christ’s love. Marge had the secret to make anyone smile or pull a laugh from them on their darkest day. She had a heart of gold. She would do anything for anyone and made sure everyone was welcome. Marge had a great sense of humor, a great cook, loved listening to music, watching old movies, and had a love for animals, particularly birds and dogs. She had a love for all football but was a huge fan of the Buffalo Bills of New York. She was a lifelong member of the Fraternal order of Eagles, Erie Chapter 1411.

Marge is survived by two sisters: Ellen Fox and Mary (Ed) Thomas, three daughters: Bonnie (Brian) Zalinski, Ellen (Dick) Johnson, Mary (John) Ralston, one step: daughter: Beverly (Don) Gray, two sons: Stash Litchman, Lenny Litchman, and one step son: Henry (Lynn) Guiher. Marge was preceded in death by both loving parents, and one sister: Joan Lindaman.

The family would like to welcome friends for visitation on Tue Feb. 12, 2019 from 9 to 10am with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, Tonawanda. Online condolences may be left at www.materralstonfuneralhome.com.
