Ricky Allen Surdick Sr, age 63, of Three Rivers, but current resident of White Pigeon, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Whittier, CA on March 17, 1955 the son of the late Leo and Shirley (Stigner) Surdick.
Rick worked in Corrugated Box Factory for over 20 years. He also worked at R + R Trailers for 5 years.
Rick loved sports and recording them. Rick was a diehard Raiders fan. He also loved Notre Dame and Detroit Tigers. Most importantly he loved watching his grandkids, nephews, and great nephews play sports.
Ricky was preceded in passing by his parents, three brothers, Lynn Surdick, Dale Surdick, and Robert Mainardi; one sister, Marjorie Lasly, and his grandparents.
Surviving to cherish his memories are his wife of 40 years: Tina Surdick; daughter: Jennifer Surdick; son: Ricky (Melissa) Surdick Jr.; 9 grandchildren; sisters: Judy Frelin and Melissa (Keith) Surdick; brothers: Ralph (Betty) Frelin, Scott (Tammy) Rozner, Randy (Tonja) Rozner, Chris (Ashley) Browne, and Eric (Melissa) Rozner. Also, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and his great grandchild due in July of 2019.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Hohner Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Solis officiating. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held following services at U.A. W. Hall, 15802 Hoffman Rd, Three Rivers, MI 49093.
