Three matters of new business, including an agreement to help fund a portion of the U.S. 131 Trail, will appear before the Three Rivers City Commission this evening.
Mayor Tom Lowry and commissioners will discuss whether to support an agreement with the Michigan Department of Transportation regarding the city’s share of money for a trail to run along the east side of U.S. 131 between Arnold and Broadway streets.
City officials will decide tonight whether to fulfill their 20 percent share of the cost, which amounts to $127,700.
Other agenda items include discussion of a $16,500 water system reliability study and a cleaning bid award change order amounting to an additional $6,500.
Tonight’s meeting starts at 6 o’clock at city hall.
