DHHS seeks donations for Easter egg hunt

The Department of Health and Human Services of St. Joseph County is issuing an appeal to the public for donations to support its annual Easter egg hunt.

This year’s event takes place next month and will be hosted by Glen Oaks Community College.

Agency representative Jan Reed said donations from the public have historically helped make the event a success for young clients of DHHS. Reed is seeking donations of plastic eggs, candy, filled eggs, small trinkets, buckets, and gift cards or monetary donations for treats, decorations and crafts.

Reed said she looks forward to the public’s help in making this year’s event bigger and better.

Donations can be sent or dropped off to the St. Joseph County DHHS office, 692 E. Main St., Centreville.
