The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of a motor vehicle from a location in Mottville Township.
According to a department media release, a gold 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass was taken around 9 p.m. Sunday from a parking lot near a park in the 10000 block of North River Road.
The vehicle had an Indiana registration of VWD577 and included a pink, heart-shaped sticker in the back window.
Investigators said witnesses report seeing several men in their early 20s in the area at the time of the theft. These possible suspects were also driving a blue Toyota passenger car and a blue Ford pickup.
