Two people were arrested on drug-related offenses following a traffic stop last week in Three Rivers.
According to a Three Rivers Police Department media release, officers stopped a car Wednesday night near the intersection of U.S. 131 and Arnold Street.
The driver, a 30-year-old Three Rivers man, denied officers consent to search the vehicle. After securing a search warrant, officers and K-9 Django located illegal prescription pills, needles, more than an ounce of crystal methamphetamine and two loaded pistols within the vehicle.
The driver and a 28-year-old female, who was wanted on a felony warrant, were charged with a number of offenses, including narcotics distribution and weapons-related offenses, police said.
