Woman arrested following domestic incident

A woman from Indiana was arrested over the weekend following an incident that required the aid of Sturgis Police.

Officers responded at 3:10 a.m. Saturday to a residence in the 200 block of West Main Street regarding a domestic disturbance. During their investigation, officers found that a man was physically injured by his 54-year-old girlfriend.

The woman, a LaGrange County resident, was charged with domestic assault, and resisting and obstructing police.
