Hobey Edsel Edmisten Jr, age 60, of White Pigeon, passed away to be with the lord surrounded by his family in the early morning hours of Friday, May 3, 2019. He was born in Grand Rapids on October 31, 1958 the son of Hobey Edsel and Tenefern Louise (Clayton) Edmisten Sr.
Hobey was a graduate of Three Rivers High School. He greatly enjoyed camping, fishing, watching/collecting movies, and building / racing radio control cars. Hobey enjoyed most of all his time spent with family and friends.
He was preceded in passing by his parents and his son Mark Allen Edmisten.
He is survived by his remaining children Michael (Cori) Edmisten of Elkhart, Manda Edmisten of White Pigeon, Matthew (Morgan) Edmisten of Bull Shoals AR, and Martin (Sasha) Edmisten of Burr Oak. Two siblings Carrie (Terry) Smead of Edwardsburg and Ron (Tina) Edmisten of Jones. Fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A celebration of Hobey’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St, Three Rivers, MI 49093.
