Here’s the weekly update from Michigan Department of Transportation regarding its work on the U.S. 131 reconstruction project in Three Rivers.
Single-lane closures remain in effect for northbound and southbound routes. Meanwhile, median curb islands and pavement widenings are to be paved this week, later than originally scheduled due to rain delays last week.
Also, crews are continuing utility work on outside shoulders throughout the project. Despite weather-caused delays, tree removal at the south end of M-60 at U.S. 131 is complete.
In addition, MDOT crews are hoping to widen pavement at the U.S. 131/M-60 south end of the intersection. Finally, workers this week plan to hang a temporary signal at the intersection, too.
