Four people were arrested last weekend following a report of disorderly conduct at a location in Sturgis.
According to a department media release, Sturgis officers were called at 11:52 p.m. Sunday to the 500 block of East Hatch Street.
Officers immediately observed a sport-utility vehicle leaving the scene and being driven in an erratic manner.
Officers conducted a traffic stop and grew suspicious of the vehicle’s passengers. K-9 Officer Tucky was called and responded to the presence of narcotics from within the vehicle.
An 18-year-old female from Bronson was cited and released for operating with a suspended license. Meanwhile, a 27-year-old female, 38-year-old female and 21-year-old male, all from Sturgis, were arrested on outstanding warrants.
Authorities noted that a 28-year-old male from LaGrange was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
