A 26-year-old Elkhart woman was injured following an all-terrain-vehicle accident earlier this week in Cass County’s Calvin Township.
Sheriff Richard Benhke said deputies were called shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday to the 20000 block of Osborn Street.
Deputies found that Taylor McGrath was being treated by first responders for injuries she suffered as the result of an ATV that had flipped out from under her.
She told deputies she was traveling across the back yard of a residence when she lost control of the ATV. McGrath was transported to Elkhart General Hospital.
Behnke said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash and a helmet was worn.
