The St. Joseph County Council for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect will be hosting a co-ed, slow-pitch softball tournament next month.
The fundraiser, called “Knock It Out of the Park,” begins at 8 a.m. July 20 at the Three Rivers Little League field on West Broadway Street.
Agency officials said they are looking for at least eight teams to participate; cost is $200 per team.
All proceeds will go toward the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Prospective participants can call 269-888-3510 for more information.
Volunteer umpires are also needed.
