Firefighters from Constantine and White Pigeon remained at the scene of a house fire late into the evening Monday in the 100 block of Second Street in Constantine.
The fire was reported on Sunday just before 1 p.m.
When firefighters arrived, the top floor was fully engulfed in flames. Authorities said the one occupant of the residence was not at home at the time of the fire.
