An Illinois man, who had been hospitalized since a Saturday incident at a Cass County lake, has died.
Parish Swanson, 50, of Aurora, Ill., died of injuries sustained in a water accident in Penn Township that occurred Saturday.
Swanson was pushed into the lake off the dock and was under water for an unknown amount of time before his sons brought him to the surface.
He was taken to Elkhart General Hospital.
No foul play or suspicious intent is suspected and the investigation was closed as an accidental death, Cass County sheriff’s officials said.
