Members of the Centreville Public Schools Board of Education approved some personnel matters Monday.
The board approved hiring Laura Schmidt as elementary school social worker and appointed elementary librarian Mary Beals as the high school’s summer school teacher.
Board members renewed coaching contracts for Shawn Hulin, girls’ track; Mike Hunter, boys’ track; Stephen Larsen, golf; and Scott Logan, softball. Baseball coach Tyler Langs chose not to return for the 2019-20 season.
The board approved administrative contracts for Chad Brady, jr./ sr. high school principal; Mark VanderKlok, elementary school principal; Juanita Miller, jail program teacher and community education/adult ed/online program director; Tyler Langs, athletic director/ dean of students; and Jill Peterson, athletic director/media specialist.
