A semi tractor-trailer overturned Monday at the intersection of M-40 and M-60 in the Cass County community of Jones.
Sheriff Richard Behnke said deputies responded to the incident and found the rig, driven by 35-year-old James Bradtke – whose community of residence was not listed in a department media release – had overturned onto M-40. As a result, an excessive amount of trash was dumped onto the roadway.
Bradtke was transported to Bronson Hospital for treatment. Investigators said a seatbelt was used and alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the incident.
