A Cassopolis man was injured after he lost control of the vehicle he was driving and it struck a tree.
Cass County Sheriff Richard Behnke said deputies were called at 9:30 p.m. Saturday to the area of Robinson Road and Buffalo Lane in Jefferson Township.
They said 51-year-old Kenneth Warner was traveling south on Robinson Road when he lost control of his vehicle, before it went off the roadway and collided into a tree.
Warner was treated for his injuries at the scene before he was transported to Lee General Hospital.
Behnke said speed and alcohol were a factor in the incident.
