A Three Rivers man was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident in Porter Township Saturday afternoon.
The Cass County sheriff’s department said the incident happened near the intersection of U.S. 12 and Baldwin Prairie, just east of Union. Authorities said a 16-year-old driver was pulling out of a driveway onto U.S. 12, causing the crash.
Tyler Hershberger, 25, of Three Rivers, was riding his motorcycle and crashed into the vehicle pulling out of the driveway. He was ejected from the bike and later pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said Hershberger was wearing a helmet. The crash remains under investigation.
