Two men were arrested on drug charges in Three Rivers on Friday. Three Rivers police were called to the 1000 block of Millard St. on Friday just before 7:15 a.m. for subjects stealing items from yards.
A little while later, they were able to locate the suspected vehicle matching the description given by witnesses. Police immediately called in K9 Jake as they suspected drug activity.
Jake alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle and a search was conducted, leading to the location of crystal meth and drug packaging inside the vehicle.
There was also a substantial amount of stolen property located inside. Additionally, police suspected the vehicle might be stolen.
The Michigan State Police was called in to assist and authorities were able to determine the vehicle was indeed stolen from a White Pigeon car dealership a few hours before, but had not been reported yet.

A 28-year-old and a 63-year-old man were both arrested and lodged at the county jail for larceny, meth possession, receiving and concealing stolen property and unauthorized driving away with an automobile.
