US-12 garage sale update

Here’s an announcement from an organization behind the US-12 Heritage Trail Garage Sale, also known as “Michigan’s Longest Garage Sale.”

Preparations are underway for the 180-mile-long sale that begins in New Buffalo and continues east into Detroit, and includes homes, organizations and businesses along the way.

This year’s event is set to take place Aug. 9-11 2019.

Anyone interested in hosting a garage sale is encouraged to register for free on the new US-12 Heritage Trail website. It is: us12heritagetrail.org.

Those who register by Aug. 6 will have their sale included as part of the sales included in the interactive online map and a page listing all the sales, which can be viewed and printed prior to the sale.

There is no cost to register.
