Three Rivers Health Foundation begins fundraising campaign

The Three Rivers Health Foundation announced its 2019 fundraising campaign.

Hospital officials said the drive will target the purchase of two pieces of medical equipment in support of helping to advance Three Rivers Health – inclusive of a laparoscopic piece for surgeries and an echo cardio ultrasound system.

David Casterline, Executive Director of the Three Rivers Health Foundation, points out that it is critical to the ongoing success of Three Rivers Health to continue to remain on the cutting edge of medical equipment technology to best service its customers.

Most recently, the Three Rivers Health Foundation funded portable ultrasound equipment for the Emergency Department. In addition, the foundation successfully obtained a grant through the Carls Foundation in Bloomfield Hills. This allowed Three Rivers Health to purchase the ALGO 5 Newborn Hearing Screener. The equipment is used on every newborn to accurately assess their hearing.
