An Elkhart man was injured after the motorcycle he was driving struck a deer last week in Cass County’s Penn Township.
Sheriff Richard Behnke said the incident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday on Paradise Lake Road near Jeffries Street.
Investigators said Rollie White, 28, was driving south on Paradise Lake Road when the incident occurred.
White was transported to Elkhart General Hospital.
Deputies said White was not wearing a helmet.
