Here’s the weekly update from Michigan Department of Transportation regarding the U.S. 131 reconstruction project in Three Rivers.
Stage 3 traffic remains in place, with two-way traffic on northbound U.S. 131 at the M-60 junction toward the south end of the project. In addition, two-way traffic is following northbound U.S. 131 at the Hoffman Road/Rocky River bridge area at the north end.
Utility relocation work remains ongoing throughout the project and bridge work on the southbound side of the highway at the Rocky River bridge continues.
Also, roadbuilding continues north and south of the Rocky River bridge to south of Hoffman Street. Roadbuilding resumes on the new southbound lane at the south end of the project.
Finally, Hoffman Street west remains closed until asphalt paving, striping and concrete work are completed.
