Michigan Department of Transportation officials have provided a weekly update on the status of the US-131 reconstruction project in Three Rivers.
Stage 2 traffic pattern remains in place, with two-way traffic on Southbound US-131 at the M-60 junction at the south end of project and on northbound US-131 at the Hoffman Road/Rocky River bridge area.
MDOT said road-building is complete at the M-60/131 junction at the south end of the project and that asphalt paving continues in the vicinity.
Meanwhile, permanent signal work in the same area will continue. Also, utility relocation work is ongoing throughout the project.
Finally, MDOT noted that road construction and Rocky River bridge is to begin on the southbound lane of US-131.
