Amanda’s House plans ribbon-cutting

A long-term project supported by several area churches in St. Joseph County is celebrating a ceremonial ribbon-cutting event in coming weeks.

Representatives from “Amanda’s House,” a Three Rivers residence overseen by Hope United, invite the public to the ribbon cutting, which takes place at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 12. The address is 222 S. Main St.

“Amanda’s House” is a recovery home to aid women who are in a transition from incarceration to establishing a better life that includes steady employment and a stable home life.
