St. Joseph County Animal Rescue Fund’s “Walkathon” took place Saturday at Scidmore Park in Three Rivers.
The event raised $275 in sponsorships, which will go toward spaying and neutering assistance, and emergency pet food.
The weather cooperated more than it did Sept. 28, the originally scheduled date of the event.
The Halloween-themed “Doggy Dash” agility course tested dogs’ ability to go over, under and through obstacles. In addition, canines could search for treats.
ARF’s next event is “Halloween Pet Pictures,” set for noon to 3 p.m. Monday at TSC in Three Rivers. Cost is a $10 donation.
