Boy dies in Burlington fire

A Calhoun County boy died in a house fire last weekend in the village of Burlington.

State police troopers said the 7-year-old boy was inside a house that caught fire shortly before 1:30 a.m.

Area fire departments put out the blaze but troopers on the scene discovered the body of a boy inside the residence. A Michigan State Police Fire investigator has been called in to assist with the case.
