A Three Rivers man was injured following a bicycle/semi tractor-trailer collision this week on U.S. 131.
Sheriff’s deputies said 61-year-old Lawrence Heard was riding a bicycle around 1 p.m. Wednesday in the area of U.S. 131 and Broadway Road. Witnesses told authorities Heard was bicycling east on Broadway when he crashed his bicycle into a tractor-trailer in the southbound lane of U.S. 131.
Heard was taken to Borgess Hospital.
The driver of the semi, Edward Corneail, 63, of Oakland County, was not injured.
