Deputies from the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a Friday night, fatal car accident on U.S. 131 in Park Township.
Details of the incident were not made available over the weekend, but officials confirmed three people died.
U.S. 131 was closed between Michigan Avenue and Moorepark Road, as the accident reportedly occurred in the vicinity of Johnson Road, just north of M-216.
