Search warrant leads to two arrests

Two men were arrested after the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant at an Edwardsburg residence this week.

Sheriff Richard Behnke said detectives on Tuesday served a search warrant in the 24000 block of May Street.

Deputies became concerned after fielding a tip on suspicion that the use and sale of methamphetamine was taking place there. Upon further investigation, detectives located methamphetamine paraphernalia.

Two 32-year-old men were arrested, one for possession of methamphetamine and felony firearm, while the other was arrested on outstanding warrants.
