Here’s the latest update from Michigan Department of Transportation regarding the redevelopment of U.S. 131 in Three Rivers.
Stage 3 traffic pattern remains in place, resulting in two-way traffic on northbound U.S. 131 at its southern junction with M-60, and two-way northbound traffic at the Hoffman Road/Rocky River bridge.
Utility relocation work remains ongoing throughout the project, while work at the southbound Rocky River bridge also remains underway.
Meanwhile, roadbuilding continues on the new stretch of southbound U.S. 131 at the south end of the project. Also, roadbuilding continues on M-60, west of 131, in the vicinity of the westbound ramp and eastbound to the traffic light.
Hoffman Street west remains closed until striping and concrete work are fully completed. Finally, ground-restoration efforts throughout the project are continuing.
