Luke Hotovy, 91

Luke John Hotovy, age 91, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Bowman Place.  He was born in Colon Twp., MI on July 4, 1928 the son of Rudolf and Leopoldine (Timmel) Hotovy.

Luke was a graduate of Three Rivers High School.  Upon his graduation he served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict until his honorable discharge.  He then became a farmer and tended to his home and farm for over fifty years.  Luke enjoyed deer hunting and all agricultural activities associated with his farm.

He was preceded in passing by his parents and seven siblings.

Luke is survived by nephew, John (Lauren) Hotovy of Three Rivers and niece, Marsha (Bill) Farquhar of Portage, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes cremation will be conducted and graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Peek Cemetery; 63030 Constantine Road, Constantine.

Memorial donations in memory of Luke may be directed to Bowman Place of Three Rivers or Elara Caring Hospice.  Envelopes available at Hohner Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
